Ingredients for 24 servings

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1.75 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling

Frosting:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • .5 tsp almond extract

Steps

  1. Beat butter, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy. Then add eggs one at a time beating well after each. Add flour and baking powder and mix well. Batter will be gooey.
  2. Spread 2/3 of batter on a cookie sheet. Spread cherry pie filling on top of batter. Dollop remaining batter on top. Bake at 350F for 35-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool slightly then frost.

Ingredients for 24 servings

  • 1.5 cups warm water
  • 1 tbsp yeast
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 3.5 cups flour
  • .5 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted

Steps

  1. Mix yeast with 1 cup flour and set aside. Mix water, sugar, and 1 cup flour until well combined. Add yeast and flour mixture and mix for 2 minutes. Add the rest of the flour and mix until smooth. Knead for 3 minutes. Roll out about 1/8 inch thick and cut into 1 to 2 inch strips, then cut again across the middle (so you have 2 equal sides). Butter cookie sheet. Twist 2 strips of dough together and place on cookie sheet. Place fairly close together. Brush with butter and sprinkle generously with garlic salt, parmesan cheese, and parsley. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes. Bake at 375F for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Ingredients for 15 servings

  • 2 (8 oz) pkgs cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cans crescent rolls
  • .25 butter, melted
  • Cinnamon sugar

Steps

  1. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. Take 1 can crescent rolls and pat on bottom of 9x13 pan. Spread cream cheese mixture on top. Pat remaining can of crescent rolls on top. Pour melted butter on top and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake at 350F for 30-45 minutes or until golden brown.

Ingredients for 10 servings

  • 6 large apples, peeled and sliced
  • .75 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • .5 cup butter
  • .5 cup oatmeal

Steps

  1. Toss sugar and cinnamon with apples and place in the bottom of a 9x13 dish. Mix flour, brown sugar, and cut in butter. Add oatmeal and sprinkle over the apples. Bake at 35F for 30-40 minutes or until apples are done. Serve with ice cream.

Ingredients for 8 servings

  • 4 cups half and half
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 2 cups cream

Steps

  1. Mix all ingredients except cream. Once mixed, add cream and combine well. Pour into 4-5 quart ice cream maker and follow instructions on ice cream maker.

  • .75 cup butter
  • .75 cup sugar
  • .75 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.25 cup peanut butter
  • .5 tsp salt
  • .75 tsp baking soda
  • .5 tsp vanilla

  • 1.5 cups quick oats

Steps

  1. Heat oven to 350F. Cream together butter, brown sugar, and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix well. Add 3/4 cup peanut butter. Mix. Sift together dry ingredients and add to mixture. Add oats. Spread onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Spread with 1 1/2 cups peanut butter while still warm (not hot). Cool. Frost with chocolate frosting.

  • .5 cup shortening
  • 3.5 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cups sugar
  • .5 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp vanilla

Frosting:

  • .5 cup butter
  • 3.5 tbsp cocoa
  • .25 cup milk
  • 1 lb powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped

Steps

  1. In saucepan, bring to boil butter, shortening, cocoa, and water. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Pour into greased cookie sheet and bake at 350F for 20 minutes.
  2. For frosting, bring butter, cocoa, and milk to boil. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. When cake has cooled, top with frosting.

  • 3 chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp garlic
  • 2 sweet bell peppers (red, orange, or yellow) chopped
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt

  • 3 sprigs fresh rosemary chopped
  • 3 medium carrots, chopped
  • 3.5 cups water
  • 2 tbsp chicken bouilon
  • 6 cups chicken broth

  • 4.5 cups penne pasta, cooked
  • 5 cups chopped fresh spinach

Steps

  1. Melt butter in a large pot, add onion, garlic, peppers, and carrots. Saute until tender. Add shredded chicken and spices and cook for 5 minutes. Add water, chicken bouillon, and chicken broth. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes. Add pesto, alfredo sauce, and spinach and simmer until heated through. Add cooked pasta right before you serve.
