Ingredients for 15 servings

  • .5 cup butter, softened
  • .5 cup oil
  • 1.75 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups grated zucchini
  • 2.5 cups flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • .5 cup buttermilk
  • 4 tbsp cocoa
  • .5 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Topping:

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Steps

  1. Cream together butter, oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add zucchini and buttermilk. Mix well. Sift together remaining ingredients. Add to zucchini mixture and mix well. Spread in a 9 x 13 pan and sprinkle topping over cake. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes.
