Mom's Christmas Fudge - Dorothy Farmer
Debbie LOVES fudge and her comment that you cannot hide fudge from her is all too true. One Christmas season when she was still living at home, I made a batch (5 lbs) early in the Christmas season and hid it away. You guessed it - Debbie found it and ate the whole thing! I made a 2nd batch and hid it in another place where I thought it certainly couldn't be found! Debbie found it!!! I finally decided to wait until Christmas Eve after everyone (especially Debbie) was in bed to make it the 3rd time that Christmas! Debbie LOVES fudge and this is a good recipe. I first received it from a girl friend (Dorothy Haas) living in Cody, Wyoming when Debbie was just a baby. I have modified her recipe into what I make now. It is a non-fail recipe and so easy to make! Debbie McFarland: Make sure this recipe gets in the cookbook. You cannot hide fudge from me!!!

Grandma Allen's Caramels - Marilyn Farmer
My mom's caramels were a big tradition every Christmas. We all looked forward to them. I learned to make them and wrap them in wax paper like a Christmas gift. I now make caramels for my brothers and sister. My brother Richard said, "I appreciate you sending us the caramels for Christmas. It reminds me of mother."

Gingerbread Man Cookies - Jennifer Crites
Every Christmas season we honor Grandpa Wold by eating whipped cream and gingerbread! He loved whipped cream and used gingerbread as the vehicle to eat it. We make cookies and use whipped cream as a dip. It wouldn't be Christmas without biting heads and feet off the gingerbread men.

Fresh and Famous Cowpies - Jennifer Crites
We had a bishop and dear friend, Dave Free, who made a large "cowpie" ( 6" round pan) for each youth in our ward on their birthday and delivered it fresh and steamy. It was a great treat and one we'll always remember.

Divinity - Dorothy Farmer
I originally got this recipe from Evelyn Cameron, life long friend since Blackfoot. When I first tasted hers, I ate three pieces one right after another. Evelyn noticing this, said, "Would you like the recipe?" to which I readily agreed. Jennifer Crites: I remember well how Gary would make divinity Sundays evenings, and boy was he a master at it!

Coconut Chocolate Chip Cookies - Debbie McFarland
Dorothy Farmer: These are a family favorite. I have made them many times, especially for grandchildren. They stay moist for a longer period of time than the regular chocolate chip cookies.
