Bird Egg Beans - Dorothy Farmer
Another Farmer recipe I married into was how to cook "bird egg beans". These are a dried bean larger than a pinto bean, and speckled. These had been canned according to directions in the Kerr canning book for dried beans and the Farmer family grew these beans in their garden. Debbie has also grown them and gave them as gifts to the family one Christmas season.

Bean with Bacon Sandwiches - Dorothy Farmer
This is a well-known and well-liked sandwich in the Dorothy-Jack household. I found it in a magazine before I was married. I made it for my Wold family and it went over like a lead balloon. They even laughed at it, but when I made it for Jack, it became his favorite sandwich, and our children all liked it too. It is a quick and hardy sandwich, and easy to prepare.

Basic Dough for Cinnamon Rolls - Debbie McFarland
We used to have a tradition of passing these out on Christmas Eve to our best friends. The kids would deliver them hot to our friends' doors.

Barbecue Sauce with Spareribs - Linda Farmer
Dorothy Farmer: This recipe has been enjoyed by many. It was originally given to be used with spareribs, but it can also be used with pork chops, chicken, etc. The longer and slower you cook the meat the better it will be.
