Ingredients for 4 servings

  • 1.5 cups miniature marshmallows
  • .25 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1.5 tbsp margarine
  • .75 cup quick oats
  • .5 cup raisins

Steps

  1. Melt margarine, honey, peanut butter, and marshmallows in double boiler, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in oats and raisins. Spread evenly in a prepared pan. Chill until firm. Cut into squares.

Ingredients for 15 servings

  • 2.25 cups sifted flour
  • 1.5 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup 2 tbsp sifted brown sugar
  • .75 tsp baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • .75 tsp salt
  • .75 cup sour milk
  • .75 cup boiling water
  • 3 squares chocolate
  • .75 cup shortening
  • 1.5 tbsp vanilla

Steps

  1. Sift flour, soda, baking powder and salt together, twice.
  2. Pour water over chocolate in a saucepan, stir over low heat until thick. Cool to room temperature.
  3. Combine butter and vanilla. Add sugar 1/4 cup at a time. Cream after each addition until fluffy.
  4. Beat eggs until thick, add slowly to creamed mixture. Blend well.
  5. Add chocolate to creamed mixture, beating until stiffened.
  6. Add flour and milk alternately , flour 1/4 cup at a time and milk 1/3 cup at a time, repeating process until all in added in.
  7. Pour batter into 9 inch layer pans. Bake at 350F for 30-35 minutes.

Ingredients for 9 servings

  • 1 cup flour
  • .5 cup margarine or butter, softened
  • .25 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • .5 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp lemon peel
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • .5 tsp baking powder

Steps

  1. Heat oven to 350F. Mix flour, margarine, and powdered sugar. Press into ungreased square pan (8x8x2 or 9x9x2), building up 1/2 inch edges. Bake 20 minutes.
  2. Beat remaining ingredients until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Pour over hot crust and bake until no indentation remains when touched.

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt

  • 3 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 2 cups grated zucchini
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease 9x13 baking pan.
  2. Combine eggs, oil, zucchini, and vanilla. Beat until well mixed. Stir in the flour, soda, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon and mix until just combined. Stir in the nuts. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 45 minutes.

Ingredients for 1 serving

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Drops of food coloring
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 cup salt
  • 2 cups flour

Steps

  1. Combine in medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir continually while scraping bottom of pan with a heavy spoon. When dough becomes very lumpy and most of the moisture is gone and is forming a ball, remove from heat. Scrape dough out of pan onto counter and to a smooth consistency. Cool and store in airtight container, not in fridge.

Ingredients for 8 servings

  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 1 tbsp basil
  • 2 cups crushed or diced tomatoes (1 lb can)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 1.33 cups tomato paste (2 small cans)
  • 10 oz lasagna noodles
  • 24 oz cottage cheese
  • 2 tbsp parsley flakes
  • 2 tsp salt
  • .5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 beaten egg
  • .5 tsp pepper
  • 1 lb mozzarella cheese

Steps

  1. Brown meat. Drain fat. Add basil, tomatoes, garlic, salt, and paste. Simmer 1/2 hour. Stir occasionally. Cook noodles in salted water and drain.
  2. Prepare filling by mixing together cottage cheese, parsley, 2 tsp salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese, egg, and mozzarella cheese.
  3. Layer in 9x13 pan: noodles, filling, sauce. Repeat and top with mozzarella cheese. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

Ingredients for 15 servings

  • 1 yellow or butter cake mix
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 12 oz can coconut milk
  • Whipped cream
  • 3 cups coconut

Steps

  1. Prepare cake according to box instructions in a 9x13 pan.
  2. Mix sweetened condensed milk and coconut milk together. Poke holes in warm cake and pour mixture over top. Cool and refrigerate. Frost with whipped cream and coconut (toasted if desired).

  • .25 cup onions, chopped
  • .25 cup flour
  • 14 oz can chicken broth
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 3 small baked potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 strips bacon
  • .25 cup cheddar cheese
  • 3 tbsp green onions, chopped

Steps

  1. Melt butter and add onion (1-2 minutes). Add flour and gradually add broth and milk Scoop potato from one and add to broth. Cook over medium heat until it boils. Dice remaining potatoes, including skins and add to soup. Garnish with crisped bacon, cheese and green onion.

Ingredients for 24 servings

  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1 cup Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing mix
  • .33 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • .5 tsp garlic powder
  • .33 cup dried parsley
  • .25 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp minced onion
  • 12 oz chili sauce (Heinz)
  • 1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

Steps

  1. Mix beef, stuffing, ketchup, soy sauce, eggs, garlic powder, parsley, pepper, and onion. Form into 1 inch meatballs.
  2. Put the chili sauce, cranberry sauce, lemon juice, and brown sugar in a saucepan and heat through. Pour over meatballs and bake at 350F for 1/2 hour or until cooked through.

Ingredients for 8 servings

  • 4 chopped carrots
  • 3 chopped celery stalks
  • .5 cup chopped onion
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • .33 cup flour
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • .5 cup milk
  • .5 cup cream
  • 1 cup chicken cooked, cubed
  • Egg noodles (not too many, just a handful-homemade style is the best)

Steps

  1. Saute carrots, celery, and onion in butter until softened. Add flour to coat the vegetables. Stir in liquids to make paste. Add noodles and chicken and simmer until thick.
