Jenny sent these cookies for the 2013 Farmer Family Christmas Cookie Exchange.
Ingredients for 60 servings
- 1 cup butter
- 1.5 cups white sugar
- 1.5 cups brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 4 tsp vanilla
- 4.5 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 5 cups milk chocolate chips
- 2 cups sweetened coconut
- 2 cups chopped almonds
Steps
- Pre-heat oven to 375F. Lightly grease cookie sheets.
- Combine dry ingredients, set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars together. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients until well mixed then add chocolate chips, coconut, and almonds. Drop by spoonful onto prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
