Spaghetti Pie - Jennifer Crites
Years ago, I used to make this casserole for my family because I could serve one of the two pans and freeze the other for another quick meal in the future. I recently made it again for the family, this time for 2 year old granddaughter Livy who loved it. It's nice to go back to old recipes and comfort foods every now and then!

Bean with Bacon Sandwiches - Dorothy Farmer
This is a well-known and well-liked sandwich in the Dorothy-Jack household. I found it in a magazine before I was married. I made it for my Wold family and it went over like a lead balloon. They even laughed at it, but when I made it for Jack, it became his favorite sandwich, and our children all liked it too. It is a quick and hardy sandwich, and easy to prepare.

Barbecue Sauce with Spareribs - Linda Farmer
Dorothy Farmer: This recipe has been enjoyed by many. It was originally given to be used with spareribs, but it can also be used with pork chops, chicken, etc. The longer and slower you cook the meat the better it will be.

Creamed Chipped Beef - Dorothy Farmer
Jennifer Crites: This was a favorite breakfast for many of my siblings. (Remember all the beef jars we used afterwards for drinking glasses?) Janette and I requested it often for our birthdays. My own family now all really enjoy this, except Dan. I guess you have to grow up on it or it doesn't seem so appetizing!

Creamed Eggs - Dorothy Farmer
Janette Johnson: My version: Make a white sauce. Add cut up hard boiled eggs, leaving the shells on or off, either way it will still taste so awful. Eat with toast. I don’t know why Mom enjoyed this so much! Debbie McFarland: I loved these!
