Ingredients
- 1.50.1 cups flour
- 20.133333333333 cups sugar
- 10.0666666666667 tsp salt
- 10.0666666666667 cup butter, softened
- 40.266666666667 eggs
- 20.133333333333 tsp orange extract
- 10.0666666666667 tsp grated orange zest
Frosting:
- 80.533333333333 oz pkg cream cheese
- 40.266666666667 tbsp softened butter
- 10.0666666666667 lb powdered sugar
- 20.133333333333 tbsp orange zest
- 10.0666666666667 tbsp orange juice
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350F. Grease 9x13 pan.
- Stir together flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Add butter, eggs, orange extract, and zest. Using a hand held mixer, beat until well blended. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 30 minutes or until light golden brown. (I find that you need to bake this longer.) Remove from oven and allow to cool. Pierce entire cake with a fork. Spread the frosting over completely cooled brownies. Cut into squares.
- Frosting: In a large mixing bowl, whip the butter and cream cheese. Gradually beat in sugar until all is smooth. Beat in zest and juice. Spread over brownies.
