Ingredients
- 20.166666666667 cups flour
- 10.0833333333333 tbsp sugar
- 40.333333333333 tsp baking powder
- .50.0416666666667 tsp salt
- 10.0833333333333 egg
- .660.055 cup milk
- .50.0416666666667 cup shortening
Steps
- Gently stir flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt with a fork 6 or 7 times (do not over stir). Cut in shortening. Mix egg and milk together. Stir egg mixture into flour. Dump on floured surface and knead together only until it all comes together. Roll about 3/4 inch thick and cut out biscuits. Place on ungreased pan with edges touching (for a softer biscuit), Bake at 450F for 10 to 14 minutes or until golden brown.
