Ingredients
- 1.50.1875 lbs ground beef
- .670.08375 cup cracker crumbs
- .330.04125 cup minced onion
- 10.125 egg
- 1.50.1875 tsp salt
- .250.03125 tsp ginger
- .250.03125 cup milk
- 10.125 tbsp shortening
- 20.25 tbsp cornstarch
- 141.75 oz can pineapple tidbits, reserve drained juice
- .330.04125 cup vinegar
- .330.04125 cup chopped green pepper
- .50.0625 cup packed brown sugar
- 10.125 tbsp soy sauce
Steps
- Mix ground beef, cracker crumbs, minced onion, egg, salt, ginger, milk and shape into small meatballs. Melt shortening and brown meatballs and cook until done. Keep warm. Pour fat from skillet, after removing meatballs. Mix and cook until smooth the cornstarch, pineapple juice, vinegar, chopped green pepper, brown sugar and soy sauce. Add pineapple and pour over meatballs.
