Dear President and Sister Kennedy,

Few people ever know the responsibilities, and the blessings, of serving as mission presidents. Receiving the call must have been a great blessing in itself to know of your standing and the trust the Lord placed in you. That trust was well placed. The service you rendered to missionaries, young and old, as well as to those not of our faith who may or may not have been investigating the Church was great.

We thought we’d let you know how we felt then and maybe a little bit about how we feel now. The bottom line is that we love you and thank you for all that you’ve done.

Hopefully we'll hear some good stories too!

This is a “virtual reunion” for Del and Kaye Standage. They have blessed the lives of many people over the years and have served in a variety of wonderful and very remarkable ways with unsurpassed kindness, concern, and care. Over a period of time approaching a decade, while serving as stake missionaries, they particularly blessed the lives of many full-time missionaries in the Arizona Tempe Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Warm welcomes, pleasant visits, and a never-ending offering of ice cream and homemade candy were frequently enjoyed.
