Ingredients
- 10.0208333333333 cup butter, softened
- 20.0416666666667 cups packed brown sugar
- 20.0416666666667 eggs
- 10.0208333333333 cup buttermilk
- .750.015625 tsp root beer concentrate or extract
- 40.0833333333333 cups flour
- 10.0208333333333 tsp baking soda
- 10.0208333333333 tsp salt
Frosting:
- 3.50.0729166666667 cups powdered sugar
- .750.015625 butter, softened
- 1.250.0260416666667 tsp root beer concentrate or extract
Steps
- In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Beat in buttermilk and root beer concentrate, Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture. Drop by tbsp 3 inches apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 375F for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.
- Make frosting by beating butter and root beer concentrate together. Add powdered sugar and beat until smooth. Frost cooled cookies.
