Ingredients

- 10.0138888888889 tsp salt
- 20.0277777777778 cups sugar
- 40.0555555555556 eggs
- 10.0138888888889 quart buttermilk
- 20.0277777777778 cups boiling water
- 50.0694444444444 tsp baking soda
- 50.0694444444444 cups flour
- 30.0416666666667 cups All Bran cereal
- 20.0277777777778 cups bran flake cereal
Steps
- Cream together the shortening, sugar, salt, and eggs. Alternately mix in the flour and cereals with the buttermilk, water, and soda. Mix well. Keep tightly covered in a bowl for 2-4 weeks in the refrigerator. Spoon into papered muffin tins. Bake at 400F for 20 minutes. May add nuts or raisins.
