Ingredients
- 81 quarts of peeled, sliced apples (Granny Smith, yellow delicious, etc)
- .50.0625 cup lemon juice
- 50.625 cups sugar
- 50.625 tsp cinnamon
- 10.125 tsp nutmeg
- 20.25 cups light corn syrup
- .750.09375 tsp salt
- 20.25 cups corn starch
Steps
- Cook apples till tender in a very small amount of water. Add lemon juice and corn syrup. Mix sugar, spices, and cornstarch together before adding to apples. Let cook until it thickens. Pour into quart jars and seal. Water bath for 20 minutes.
