I remember being on top of Mount Lemon at a zone activity. We had been messing around playing capture the flag and other things for a time. Listening to Elder Andy Morrill play his very loud bag pipes. Then we gathered in a large cabin for a testimony meeting. It was great as you would expect from a bunch of missionaries. Things changed though in a remarkable way as it was your turn to bear your testimony. You went around the room and told each missionary there why you loved them. A very strong spirit of love filled our hearts. For each experienced what I did, I’m sure, enjoying and agreeing with what you were saying of others as we stood with the anticipation of what would be said to us.
I have since done the same, based on your example, as I’ve had opportunity to serve with the youth. Open expressions of love to each individual. Thanks for that Scott.
I then followed you in serving at the U of A with Brent Davies and living in the home of Sister Nickerson. What a great blessing!
